These pics are the only reason that the rally on Saturday was worth going to. Other than Adebisi and Armagideon it was pretty much your garden variety protest without any excitement or frills. Just an hour and a half of people saying the same shit they always do without backing it up with action. I'm not jaded or anything but fucksake protests really are boring and energy-sapping. If it had not been for Adebisi and Armagideon pumping up the crowd people probably would have left really depressed.

We all have to play our part. lets not forget there would never have been a rally without the work of peace action and other anti-war activists. i feel the need for new strategy though. and i honor those that have taken a stand against the war. but how long can we stand and be ignored. i say in my lyrics, "slum-lord, money hungry, shiesty, politicians, so we rushin city hall to put the mayor outa commission, while bombs drop in the east, fire spreads in the west, hoods floodin' down south lord put us to the test, to see the strong from the weak, those who guive in to defeat, those who struggle for they light and no not what they see." this lyric address the fact that one day all of us will have to put our lives on the line for freedom. and god decideds who is weak and who is strong by giving us tests. the war in iraq is a like a test. are you willing to die to save the live of thousands of Iraqi children? are you willing to die to make sure your children live in a world of peace? ask yourself. Peace can only be maintained so long. and Peace Action has done a good job keeping the peace at the rallies, but i think the people are ready for action. Civil Unrest.
